Breastfeeding support from a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC)
What can a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) do for you?
As a CLC, I am able to assess and evaluate breastfeeding and milk transfer, develop individualized care plans, counsel families through lactation challenges, provide lactation education, help families have successful nursing journeys and meet their goals, help manage and potentially eliminate pain associated with nursing, conduct infant weight checks, and much more. I offer Lactation Info Sessions/Classes both virtually and in-home, as well as counseling sessions both virtually and in person.
My training is through the Healthy Children's Project. The CLC® credential is certified by the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice (ALPP).
